Auchroisk 1981 The Singleton Single Malt Whisky 1Lt

The Singleton of Auchroisk 1981 Single Malt Whisky. The distillery at Auchroisk lies in a valley on the banks of the River Spey, near the village of Mulben. The translation for Auchroisk from the ancient Gaelic is ' the ford across the stream'. The Singleton is Auchroisk's pride and joy, a mature and mellow unblended Single Malt Whisky of unique character. Its exceptional mellowness is derived from the pure, soft water of an ancient Scottish spring called Dorie's Well which lies on the estate of Auchroisk.

The Singleton's smooth taste and deep rich colour are enhanced by gentle ageing in individually selected sherry casks from Spain.
