Long maturation in Traditional whisky casks lends familiar Balvenie Oak, Honey and Vanilla notes to the whisky, while the final period spent in Madeira wine barrels creates layers of rich spice and soft fruit.
This whisky is characterised by rich spice, soft fruit and dry oak.
This seventeen year old Single Malt was aged exclusively in Traditional American Oak whiky casks before being transferred to barrels previously used in the production of Fortified Madeira Wine.
