Caol Ila 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
Caol Ila 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky. The Caol Ila Distillery, built in 1846 is situated near port Askaig on the Isle of Islay. Steamers used to call twice a week to collect whisky from this remote site in a cove facing the Isle of Jura. Water supplies for the mashing come from Loch nam Ban although the sea provides water for condensing. Unusual for an Islay this Single Malt Whisky has a fresh aroma and a light yet well rounded flavour.
