Inspired by the famous clipper, built in Scotland in 1869 and the fastest sailing ship of her day, Cutty Sark originated a new style of whisky - a naturally light coloured blend of outsanding quality and genuine character
Cutty Sark 12 Year Old proudly follows this tradition by selecting the finest single whiskies and maturing them for a minimum of 12 full years in oak casks. The whiskies are then married and left to harmonise further in cask before bottling.
Golden and bright, Cutty Sark 12 Years Old contrasts a honeyed fruit aroma with an elegance and a touch of sweetness on the palate, followed by a rounded finish.
