Glenlochy 1968 / 2008 Bottling / Rare Old Whisky / 70cl

Glenlochy was foudned in 1898, it nestles close to Loch Lochy on the outskirts of Fort William. In the early 1900's the town boasted three distilleries. Glenlochy has had a varied history, it is believed to have also operated as a brewery for some of it's life. The distillery fell silent when it was closed in the early 1980's.

Tasting:
Elements of sherry and soft fruits, with a hint of smokiness.
Matured in Refill Sherry Hogsheads.
