From the label
James Buchanan secured the contract to supply Scotch Whisky to the House of Commons in 1885 and this contract has continued unbroken to the present day. A letter he received from the Refreshment Department of the House of Commons in November 1885 states 'The Buchanan Blend of Scotch Whisky you now supply to this Department is much liked by the Members and others who use it. It is with great pleasure that we express our high opinion of its quality', this same high quality and flavour has been maintained to this day.
