The Commemorative Bottling, Limited Edition.
The distillery's 200 year history has been eventful, but it is the year 1963 that bares real significance. For this is when the distillery was rebuilt and returned to former glory, bringing new life to the island. To celebrate this special year as part of our 200th anniversary we have selected a malt matured for 21 years and finished in an original 1963 cask. Rich & full bodied with a vintage 1963 sherry finish.
The unique vintage 1963 Oloroso sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass have provided this noble spirit with a flawless finish of soft marzipan, crushed walnuts, fleshy pear and tangy orange peel. Whispers of succulent maraschino cherries, plums and soft liquorice complete this memorable masterpiece.
