After lying dormant for more than 20 years, slumbering stills have once again stirred into life.
1st of September 2008 they were brought back to life, curiously small stills are one of The Macallan's Six Pillars. The smallest on Speyside and the most famous in Scotland, these uniquely shaped copper vessels are one of the key ingredients to our success and are revered amongst whisky lovers. Should such a significant rebirth be allowed to pass unheralded? Of course not. So this very special bottling commemorates their re-awakening. Only 1000 of these collectors' items have been released (even though it states 1002 on the bottle)!
