Vallformosa Syrah Tempranillo 2006 - 75cl

 

A red cherry colour with a intense, complex bouquet. The black fruit aromas stand out and combine with hints of truffle, coffee, liquorice and spices from the oak.
A very easy to drink wine with good body, that is pleasant and very fruity. Balanced with a good persistence in the mouth.
Serve with rice dishes, such as paella or cold meats and barbecues. Also a great partner to fresh, creamy cheeses.
Content - 60% Syrah / 40% Tempranillo
Ageing - 4 months in oak
Volume - 13.1%

The name of our vineyards has an enchanting, timeless allure. It comes from the ancient Romanesque chapel of Santa Maria de Vallformosa, which is located right next to the winery. In the Catalan language, Vallformosa means 'beautiful valley' Beauty has guided the tradition of our vineyards
