Don Cecco Pinot Grigio Rose 2007 - 75cl
Don Cecco Pinot Grigio Rose seeks to express the fresh and vibrant character of this grape variety. It is as crisp and clean as the air in the Veneto region of Italy where it is produced, close to the town of Verona and the foothills of the Alps.
Beautiful pale salmon pink colour. It has a clean and delicate aroma with notes of freshly crushed berries. On the palate it is off dry, crisp, very clean and refreshingly fruity with delicate, lingering red berry flavours on the soft finish. An unapologetically light bodied rose.
Serve chilled (8oC) - ideal as an aperitif and with seafood, pasta, pizza, cold meats and salads. A gentle, beautifully clean and refreshing rose.
Cellaring potential - to be drunk young, within 18 months of bottling
Content - 100% Pinot Grigio
Ageing - Stainless steel – unoaked
