At the end of the garden, a chorus of activity comes from the nesting box as trim Bonnie Birds return from the hedgerows, weighed down with treats for a family celebration.
Inspired by Jane Austen’s heroines, the Bonnie Birds delight in dressing up with fashionable floral bonnets. Each bird has been individually carved and hand-painted, making each one unique. Standing at just over 11cm tall, they arrive in their very own bird house gift box, as well as a pre-selected name tag.
And, because every DCUK character is carved from earth-kind bamboo root, then painted and moulded by hand - no two are exactly the same.
