Cath Waters Ceramic Tile - Strawberry Moonrise

Cath Waters is a Scottish landscape digital artist and photographer.

Much of the inspiration for her landscape work comes from camper van travels around Scotland. She loves the wide open spaces, vast moody skies and low light of the Scottish West Coast and the Hebrides and tries to capture the essence of these special places. There is a sense of simplicity, space and solitude in her work, which often features the unique calming colours of the Scottish land and sea – soft greys, emerald greens, muted blues and purples.

A strawberry moon is the full moon in June which is so called because it marks the time of year that wild strawberries are ready to pick. The full moon in June is also sometimes known as the Honey Moon, Rose Moon or Mead Moon. The Cuillin ridge on the Isle of Skye is spectacular in it’s own right but even more so on a full moon and watching the moon rise over the jagged peaks is a truly memorable sight.

These tiles are 4.25″ cork backed, glossy , ceramic tile with hanging fixture. Presented in a high quality two piece gift box. Each tile is hand printed in Cath’s workshop.
