Cath Waters Wood Block Print - Cuillins Isle of Skye

The Cuillin range on the Isle of Skye is matchless for it’s awe inspiring drama. Its foreboding peaks and sense of brooding darkness help make Skye one of the world’s top tourist destinations and a mecca to hillwalkers.

Much of the inspiration for Cath Waters landscape work comes from her camper van travels around Scotland. She loves the wide open spaces, vast moody skies and low light of the Scottish West Coast and the Hebrides and tries to capture the essence of these special places. There is a sense of simplicity, space and solitude in her work, which often features the unique calming colours of the Scottish land and sea – soft greys, emerald greens, muted blues and purples.

These are glossy 15 cm, black edged wood blocks with wall hanging fixture, which can also be displayed free standing on a shelf.

Each wood block is hand printed in Cath’s workshop.
