Technologies

• Supplex® is a silky smooth nylon that feels very much like cotton against the skin. It provides a UV protection factor of 40+*, is quick-drying and yet strong and durable. It is great to wear next to the skin, especially on hot days.
• The Q.M.C. (Quick Moister Control) fibre technology ensures so-called active moisture management in active clothing such as fleeces, tops and underwear, meaning that excess sweat is absorbed and quickly wicked away to the surface.

  The result is that the material dries quickly whilst preventing the wearer from feeling the cold due to damp clothes!

• UV Shield

  For our UV protective apparel we only use materials where the UV protection is not achieved via chemical treatment. Instead, the protective function results from the use of special yarns and/or fabric constructions (e.g. extremely dense weaves).

  Advantages:

  • The function is integrated into the fabric itself
  • The protection is long-lasting and is not diminished by perspiration or contact with water
  • The UV protection factor is also suitable for intense sunlight (UVA + UVB protection)

  Apparel with an UV protection factor of 40+ quotes the EN 13758-1:2001+A1:2006 standard. Only covered areas are protected. The protection may be reduced with use or if stretched or wet.

• Mosquito Proof

  A special extra-thick weaving technique will protect you from insect bites. And the added advantage – no chemicals are used.

• Organic Cotton

  We only use organic cotton from certified ecological sources in our products, the manufacturing of which adheres to particularly environmentally friendly processes. We refrain fully from using chemical fertilisers and pesticides during production.

The lightweight fabric has a very tight weave that makes it impossible for insects to bite through. And with a UV protection factor of 40+, it also shields your head from the sun’s harmful rays. Hidden behind the zip in the brim of the hat, there’s a large mosquito net that can be folded out for extra protection when needed. The airy lining wicks perspiration quickly and effectively, dries fast, and ensures you keep a cool head all day long.
