Cara Mckinnon Crawford is one of Scotland’s most established artists. Her bold, but sensitive mastery of oil paint result in beautiful interpretations of some of the country’s most iconic land and seascape. A graduate of the Glasgow School of Art her success as a painter has led to her being described as “The new Scottish Colourist”.

Much of Cara's work is painted on location, applying the paint directly onto the canvas. Cara’s paintings are spontaneous, energetic and uniquely evocative demonstrating her deep connection to Scotland, capturing all it’s mystical diversity.
